This is something a lot of people have heard over and over, and as ordinary as it may sound, it’s a concept that always works. I’ll tell you how:
A year ago, I made a conscious decision to transition into the tech industry. I was previously a DJ. And at first, I thought long and hard on what to start with because asides the knowledge of some google workspace tools and some small video editing here and there, I didn’t really know much about Tech. (Me who feared Math so greatly Lol)
But this didn’t stop me, instead, I embraced the process. I started with a foundational course, then moved on to the next, and then the next. I absorbed what I could, studying seriously, replicating the projects and assignments being given. Some days, I would find myself strong and bustling with energy. On other days, I would feel depressed and ask myself what I was doing especially when my mates were making money and pivoting to tech. I felt so bad and tired on those days. But God in His Infinite mercies, always filled my heart with a glimmer of hope and surrounded me with a few supportive friends and family who consistently believed in me and what I could do.
Well, it’s been a year and a few months now. I’ve not only been certified three times in AI and Data Analysis concepts, but I've also written and self-published a guide on Digital Literacy called “DIGITAL LITERACY FOR THE MODERN AGE: A PRACTICAL GUIDE” which was inspired by the gap I observed among people (young and old alike). I found out that several people have difficulties in understanding and using digital tools (i.e the internet) easily.

And so, this book, which is now available on digital platforms addresses this issue practically.

Now, as I build my personal brand and take on blogging, I see the same pattern unfolding one small step at a time, gradually shaping something meaningful. And that to me is the power of starting small: it doesn't look big at first, but it builds deep roots.
Thanks for reading. if this spoke to you in any way, I’d love to hear from you.
